Tribal Government Closed January 9 for President Carter

The Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians will close the Tribal Government office and departments on Thursday, January 9, 2025 in recognition of the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter.

On Thursday, President Carter’s state funeral will be held in Washington, D.C., and President Joe Biden has announced that the federal government will also be closed.

The Cow Creek Umpqua Tribal Government office will reopen Friday, January 10, 2025.

The Cow Creek Health and Wellness Center clinics in Roseburg and Canyonville will remain open on Thursday for patients.
