Virtual Event: Cooking with Chef Nephi Craig

On Thursday, May 5, at 3:30 pm, Tribal families and Tribal members are invited to join a remote cook-along event with Chef Nephi Craig. Participants are encouraged, though not required, to cook-along in their own kitchen during Chef Craig’s demonstration.
Chef Craig is the founder of the Native American Culinary Association. He strongly believes in the healing power of healthy food and is currently the Nutritional Recovery Program Coordinator and Executive Chef at Rainbow Treatment Center and Café Gozhóó in Whiteriver, Arizona.
Before the event, each participant who RSVPs will receive an event Zoom link, instructions for joining, and a recipe kit offering a bag of quinoa, harissa spice, and a recipe card with preparation notes (Please note: participants will need to provide all other ingredients needed to make the demonstration recipe).
You may pick up a free recipe kit of quinoa, harissa and recipe card at the Cow Creek Tribal Government Office or Tribal Community Center in Myrtle Creek on May 3 and 4 during business hours.
