The Cow Creek Cultural Resources Team will be participating in Native American Culture Day at Fort Umpqua on Saturday, August 20 at Fort Umpqua in Elkton, OR.

This event is free to participate and geared to engage kids and teens. However, all community members who want to learn more about cultural traditions of the Cow Creek Umpqua Tribe are welcome to attend.

Activities will center around beading, drumming, Takelma language, and traditional Native games.

The event is from 11AM-3PM at the Elkton Community Education Center at Fort Umpqua, located at 15850 State Highway 38 W., Elkton, OR. 97436.
