Michelle specializes in family practice, women’s and men’s health, and hormone and wellness balancing. With over a decade of experience in various aspects of healthcare, she treats anyone from puberty to geriatric age.

“I like to look at the body as a whole, and not at an individual piece or complaint. If I don’t know something, I will research it. My philosophy is to treat people like I want to be treated, and I treat my patients like family.”

Claire Grubb, RD, LD.

Originally from Athens, Georgia, Claire’s love of travel led her to explore the Pacific Northwest, which brought her to Roseburg. With a degree from Colorado State University and a career in Long-Term and Skilled Nursing Care, she follows her passion for cooking, education, and Diabetes management to serve the patients of the Cow Creek Health and Wellness Center as a Registered Dietitian.

“My primary goal is to promote my clients’ independence, through nutrition education and lifestyle support, whether that be showing someone how to properly chop a vegetable, to learn about glucose monitoring, etc.  My office is a safe space, and I provide services to people of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and cultures.”

As a Health Education Lifestyle Coach at CCH&WC, April provides diabetes education, hands-on cooking classes, and a variety of other services to help build health resilience.
“I value individualized healthcare and the art of medicine, helping people discover simple yet profound ways to restore wellness through lifestyle. It’s a great day when education inspires awareness of our immense capacity to heal from within, once the obstacles to cure are cleared.”

“Food is something that everyone engages with on a daily basis. It can play a huge role in someone’s life, longevity, health, and disease prevention. I believe that everyone can learn something from whoever we engage with, so I love just sitting and chatting with my clients in a laid back, non-judgmental way.”
